Being a Chinese mobile developer company does not stop Zapya from sharing joy beyond the virtual domain to the physical world around us. In the spirit of giving during the Spring Festival, Zapya provided donations to orphans at the Edhi Center in Lahore, Pakistan.
The Edhi Foundation is a non-profit social welfare program in Pakistan, founded by Abdul Sattar Edhi in 1951, provides 24-hour emergency assistance across the nation of Pakistan and abroad. The Foundation provides many other services, one which is to address the concerns of orphans in the country.
Zapya strongly believes that everyone was born with the ability to change someone’s life, so don’t waste it. This philosophy has enabled us to start small but ensure that we are slowly, but surely, giving back to those around us. We would also like to acknowledge that this initiative would not have been possible without the steadfast support of our local partner, Tickling Vines.
Donations are one of many ways to give back to those who are less fortunate. It can be seen as the duty of those who are privileged to help reach out and give back to those who do not share the same privilege. Zapya is honored and proud to be able to do its part and bring smiles on the faces of those children; their smiles not only motivate us back home but also renew our drive to keep spreading joy around the world.
Lastly, Zapya would like to sincerely thank Newsweek in Pakistan for including news of our donation into one of your columns. With your help, we’re now successfully illustrate the meaning of “giving and sharing” to the people out there. We hope that our small action can inspire people to start doing something great and meaningful to the society.
